"How long does it last?" is the single most-asked question we get. Longevity depends on the fragrance concentration (our eau de parfums sit at 22%), but it also depends heavily on how you apply.
Perfume clings to lipids. Dry skin releases fragrance molecules quickly; moisturised skin holds them for hours longer. An unscented body lotion applied five minutes before you spray will roughly double your longevity.
Rubbing your wrists together crushes the delicate top notes. Spray, then let the fragrance dry naturally.
Wrists, base of the neck, behind the ears — the classics. Add one spray to the hair (from 20cm away, so the alcohol doesn't dry it out) and you'll get a scent trail that follows you all day.
Warm, slightly damp skin absorbs fragrance more evenly than cool dry skin.
Even a plain, unscented body oil creates an occlusive film that traps the fragrance underneath and slows evaporation.
With those five habits combined, our customers routinely report 14–18 hour wear from a 3-spray application of Amber Nocturne or Oud Noir — right in line with what you'd expect from a comparably priced boutique fragrance.
